Chou Soran was a normal college student until he became involved in a horrific event while visiting his grandfather's grave in a small village. Soran is attacked by undead while walking through the graveyard to pay his respects to his deceased grandfather, until a mysterious girl wielding a knife appears and leads him to a clash with the undead. Soran's life begins to change after successfully resisting the undead and encounters with the knife-wielding girl known as Fu Hh, as he learns that the martial arts technique taught to him by his grandfather, known as Kitaigen, is a technique sought after by many martial arts groups with ulterior motives.
